Step1: Search for www.sendsprint.com
Step 2: Log into your verified SendSprint profile.
Step 3: Select your location & currency [ USA-USD, CA- CAD or UK-GBP].
Step 4: Select your recipient’s location & currency [NG-USD].
***Due to the CBN's regulation in December 2020, all foreign remittance transfers into Nigeria must be in USD. This means that sending money into Nigeria, regardless of your currency will be delivered in USD. (If you send GBP or CAD, the recipient will receive the equivalent in USD).***
Step 5: Type the amount you want to send.
Step 6: Select how you want your recipient to receive their money and select "Continue".
*** If your recipient has a Domiciliary USD Bank Account, you can select this option.***
***If your recipient doesn’t have a Domiciliary USD Bank Account, you can select the Cash Pickup option. At SendSprint, we're still working with our payments partner to create the most comfortable cash-pick-up experience. Once we're able to make this possible, we will enable this for recipients in Nigeria.***
***If your recipient doesn’t have a Domiciliary USD Bank Account, you can select the Instant USD Domiciliary Bank Account option if your recipient has a valid Polaris Bank, United Bank Africa (UBA), Zenith Bank, Fidelity Bank, First Bank, Access Bank, Globus Bank or Wema Bank Nigerian Account.***
Step 7: Fill in the necessary information and select “Confirm”.
***For the Cash Pickup option, select your recipient's preferred bank to claim the transfer. We suggest your recipient selects the bank within their vicinity for convenience.***
***For the Instant USD Domiciliary Bank Account option, fill in the necessary information, select between the banks that offer Instant USD Domiciliary Bank Account services and select "Confirm".***
Step 8a: For the Domiciliary USD Bank Account option.
***Please ensure that you properly cross-check the payment details and only select "Pay" when you're sure the details are correct and you are ready to make your transfer.***
Step 8b: For the Cash Pickup option.
Input your "Security Question", "Answer" and select "Add & Continue".
Step 8b(ii): Please ensure that you properly cross-check the payment details and only select "Pay" when you're sure the details are correct and you are ready to make your transfer.
Step 8c: For Instant USD Domiciliary Bank Account option.
Step 9: Input your card details and select "Pay".
Step 10: Input your "Pin".
Step 11: Input "OTP" if requested and select "Authorise Payment".
That's it, your transfer is on its way!
SendSprint will update the transfer status page once the transfer is complete.
